Hi Mooner,
I just wanted to clarify your mentioning of the $5 to park. This is incorrect. It is $5 per person - for day use only. If anyone wants to camp or is parked at the ranch after dark - it is $10 per person. We have had a lot of people drive up to the ranch with this incorrect information from the internet, and I am trying to get it all listed correctly. Thanks for visiting! :-)

Hi so my husband and I went looking for the trails to the hot springs, we live in Lake Arrowhead and we came up to Splinters cabin from Hook creek road we went on 2 trails but we could not find the hot springs, is it possible to get to the hot springs from that direction, should we have just gone further on the trails and if so which trail is best we were on Splinters and PCT any info would be much appreciated Thanks ;-)

HI, Glad I read the reviews on this place! I was gonna hike there with my kids (14) and (16). Noticed it was clothing optional so My girlfriend and I decided to hike there first and see if it was appropriate. Most nudists are very normal respectable folks and I have no issues with people wanting to be nude, more power to them. HOWEVER there are always the few that ruin things for everyone else. A couple of guys were touching themselves a little tooooooo much and walking around erect walking up to strangers and starting up a conversation. I find this unacceptable especially since there was a family there with small children. Stunning place difficult to moderate hike a couple of creeps. NOT A PLACE TO GO WITH THE FAMILY.
