"i have done both the trail to the waterfall, which was quite easy and the trip up past the boy scout camp. The first 1 mile of the trail is on a paved road and is kind of steep. But just past the camps entrance the road becomes dirt then a small trail. There is water along most of the trail and it is also shaded for most of the 3.5 miles which is nice in the summer. You have to finish hiking by 5 o'clock or else you may get locked in the park."
