SideKick-of-SideTrack likes Cumberland Gap National Historical Park on Mar 27, 2011

DSCN1087.JPG (Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, United States) Photo
Cumberland Gap National Historical Park provides excellent opportunies for day hiking and backpacking.  One can do a variety of hikes from just a few miles to long miles, or can backpack across the Ridge Trail  Not only is Cumberland Gap noted for its historical importance, but the views gained from Cumberland Mountain are stunning.  Fortunately the Gap is far less visited than many other national parks, and this is a blessing.
