I hiked this trail in early November with my dogs. Other than all of us (dogs included) wearing orange for hunting season, it was a great hike - no ticks nor bugs (it depends on the time of year). Fund trail - interesting points along the way. Terrain was mostly 2 - 4 foot rocks or gravel - other parts were typical forest cover.
