I was kayaking here a few years ago & was following a Loon around the lake! There is so many great places off of Hwy E! Marble Creek Camp is a super place to stay & a great hike to Crane Pond Lake!

I love this place. I used to ride out there when I was at UCB, and had some hikes in the aftermath of drenching rains. These pictures are a vivid reminder. WAS, your other commenter, knows what I'm talking about. ... What's the TWO HEEL DRIVE?

Went today after a hard rain last week. The falls are absolutely beautiful. We were in Maui 2 weeks ago and thought we had seen the best falls, but this was on par if not better. The hike was challenging and rewarding. A must see after a hard rain.

This was a tough hike at times, we felt like we were on a roller coaster. For every assent there was a steep descent, not much of this hike was level! It didn't help we forgot our map and made a wrong turn, costing us about 4 more miles! Definitely a beautiful hike! The falls were great! Lots of people on the narrow trails, and plenty of poison oak. Bring extra water, as its humid!!
