N Percy is a great secluded hike. The trail to the summit is a lot easier if you continue about 3/4 mile north on Nash Stream Road to the point where the Cohos trail meets the road. I've been to the summit twice, and, unfortunately, the haze obscured the view both times. Maybe 3 times is a charm.

I've done this one a couple times. It's really nice when the blueberries are ripe on the higher ledges.

Great hike - did it in Sept 2007. Scenery is awesome for such a little bit of effort.

I love that hike!
You should have continued into Cascade Canyon. Once you reached Inspiration Point, you did all the climbing. 90% of the people turn back at this point. The trail continuing thru the canyon is almost flat, and WOW for scenery.
Look into this for the trip

Agreed that this is a very unrewarding, long hike, unless you just enjoy walking in the woods. And, being stupid, I did it twice back in the 1980's - first to complete the AMC 4000 Footer requirement, and then again to accompany a friend who was going for the 4000 footers.
Never again!
