Hello there... did you start at the beginning of the family trait and then turn right at the top of the hill?... I did see a trail and some ribbons but I had not gone on. I usually trail-run/hike on Saturday mornings.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Yes, that is correct. Start at the Family trail (on the right hand side) and when you are at the top of the hill, turn right.
Becareful : there are actually 2 paths you can take at the top.
1) The first turn takes you on the circular finger walk. This walk is really not nice as it finishes at Parkview again but when you reach the end its full of garbage. Its also wet and very smelly due to the garbage. I would avoid this walk.
2) The second turn is just 5 more steps after the first one and this one will take you up to the Violet Hill. Its not easy and its very overgrown, but it does have many beautiful views. There are a lot of ribbons so you should not get lost. Its not really suitable for running due to all the vegitation.
If you zoom into the track, you will see that the 2 paths are very close together at the start and then they seperate.

Thanks Tony... Are you running/hiking the Tai Tam area regularly? If yes, we can meet up one weekend and you can show me the hidden trails around the area if you don't mind. Cheers.
