We ride directly from the Chateau des Allues, and ride a loop, climbing first the Col du Frene, then the Col des Pres, lastly climbing the Col de Marocaz and descending back into the valley of St. Pierre d'Albigny and back to the hotel - 5500 feet of climb and 70 km.
A very nicely run Century ride. The last climb is pretty tough as the temps this time of year are always 90 degrees or so. Otherwise, the ride's a piece of cake, with great scenery, excellent support, and popsicles at the last 2 rest stops! Plus Ojai itself is a beautiful destination.

We met at the Bike Shelter at the base of Glendora Mountain Road, then climbed up to the top of GMR. We then proceeded on the Rim of the World Highway, or Glendora Ridge Road, to Mt.
