Great hike from the Castro with world-class views on non-foggy days. Almost all uphill until you reach the top of Mt Sutro at about 900 feet. Trails are easy to navigate and well marked in most cases. The GPS data is reversed, but it gives you a good guide up to the Beacon at 4615 feet.
