Head toward pipe dream and then veer off to the right for another 3 mins or so of hiking. Climbs range from about 5.7 to a stout 10b/c. Bolted by Stephanie Day in honor of her 50th birthday.Not sure that the gps track is very accurate. It had difficulty tracking inside the canyons.

Ken and I did hatchet crack (5.7) to movie variation (5.8) to some 5.5 well-bolted slab. Unfortunately, my phone died so I couldn't get photos of movie. Both cracks were pretty amazing! I think the grades here are a bit harder than we are used to, but then again maybe we are just out of trad shape!
With Jim and Jackie. I sent black Monday (11a) with draws prehung. Maybe next time I will get full ascent.
After hellgate I spotted ken's car at the parking for black peeler. He joined tony's meetup group and duke came too. They did better than bikinis.

On our way back to the car we heard there was a hiking accident in the canyon, so we drove to the accident scene to see if we could help.
