A good fun hill/mountain day with little distance covered, this was part of my scouting mountain leader training. In scouting we have the Terrain 1 qualification which has the same syllabus as the MLTE walking group leader award and allows you to take parties of scouts on the hill up to 800m altitude and 3 hours walk from a help access point.
