This 13-mile hike was completed by the 8th Grade of Pine Forest School of Flagstaff, AZ., on March 5th, 2010. After recent floods, the trail was extremely rugged and washed out. West Clear Creek is a creek that, considering the desert setting, retains its flow surprisingly well due to the large Mogellon Rim catchment area.
