By far, one of the most beautiful hikes we've done: 4 waterfalls, trekking on huge granite slabs, dam built in 1917 (feeding American Lake), and hopping huge boulders. Â Fantastic!
Beautiful day! We started above the fog. Very foggy at about 500 feet. At 1000 feet it was clear and warm. We could see the cloud cover below us. Beautiful! Clouds cleared up 3pm and we could see the whole city.
The boys did incredibly well. The adults were more tired and ready to quit before the boys were! Great job guys! A well earned Rim of the Bay patch!
