Eight pentagenarian hikers conquer raging rapids, take in sweeping vistas and consume large quantities of wine during a five day adventure in Yosemite's high sierra.
Hiked at the end of wildflower season at Russian Ridge. Beautiful, green, fresh and breezy. Saw a flock of turkeys, lots of lizards, a baby rattle snake, another snake eating a lizard and herd of deer. Plus lots of beautiful flowers, all in about an hour.

OSG guardianship hikes through Rancho Corral de Tierra. Huge waves -- Mavericks held today nearby.
Gorgeous hike up Steep Ravine, down Matt Davis Trail to the town of Stinson Beach, and then up part of the DIPSEA trail back to our campground. The Ravine trail is full of great nature close-ups, while the Matt Davis trail is full of panoramic views of the coast.

Orienteering challenge put on by TrackMe360.com (Steve's first).Incomplete track -- GPS battery gave out.Entire route took about 8.5 hours, hitting all 10 waypoints.Lots of bushwacking through thick brush, poison oak, fields of foxtails.Total distance about 18 miles. I bonked due to poor hydration.

POST staff and volunteers inspect property as part of guardianship duties. Beautiful property with wonderful views. A number of invasive species noted: Pampas grass, French broom, Replanted Live Christmas Trees (scotch pine?). Also some BMX tracks/jumps and tracks from motorized dirt bikes.
Eric and Steve hike around the Hampton property on a beautiful Winter day in Texas. Very dry due to lack of rain.
