The Redbud trail runs from the Pavillion to the Elm Fork of the Trinity River and then proceeds upstream toward the dam.  It is a loop trail that passes through the lowlands.  It may be muddy or covered with water when rainfall has been heavy.Many animals use this area and tracks are plentiful.  Fishing and birding opportunities are abundant in this area of LLELA.

Cross Timbers is a small piece of the Post Oak habitat.  It has very good gravel trails and excellent signage.  There is one small area that has a dirt footpath that has a few steep hills with loose gravel.
