A quick Christmas Eve snowshoe out of the Lone Pine Campground below Mt Whitney. The snowline was right around 6k (at the campground) and we needed snowshoes the whole way. The fresh stuff was really powdery and we sank quite a bit (unlike the usual Sierra snow). Because we had to break trail we didn't make it very far.Additional Photos

A nice and easy flat snowshoe near Crane Flat. We broke trail most of the way so were moving pretty slow, but the view at the end was nice. Additional Photos
