This was my first snowshoe hike. Phil (macridge) recommended this trail. I also found the description in the "Tahoe Snowshoe Trails" guidebook.It's short, flat, and doesn't present any technical difficulties.The trailhead, along Hwy 89, is also an access point to the Desolation Wilderness.
