Took the original unpaved Old Fall River Road that follows the Indian Pass thru the mountains and circled around thru Alpine Center then Back across the Park on Trail Ridge Road. Took a Drive from Boulder to Vail. Went down Peak to Peak Hwy. though Blackhawk, Central City  down to I-70. Visited Idaho Springs, Georgetown, Dillon, Frisco Driving thru the Continental Divide in The Eisenhower Tunnel  and then to Vail, Colorado. Visited the Ski Village, The Nature Center and Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and Toured Vail looking at the million$+ Houses and Mountains. We Had an Amazing journey seeing Beautiful Colorado.

Drove to Moffat Tunnel, in Rollingsville, Colorado, a 6.2 mile Railroad tunnel that goes beneath the Continental Divide. Went hiking in the James Mountain Wilderness. Took a cruise thru the mountains from Boulder out to Nederland then to Historic mining town of  Eldora. Continued down gravel 4th of July Road to the Indian Peaks Wilderness Trail head. The road is so narrow we had to back up a few times just to let another car by. Took a drive into the Rocky Mountains just outside of Boulder. Went up Four Mile Canyon to Gold Hill, then westdown Hwy. 52 into Roosevelt National Forest. We Turned south on The Switzerland Trail and followed it about 6 or 7 miles. (This road is not for regular passenger cars and is one way wide most of the way.) We arrived at the Mt. Alto Summit and went hiking with beautiful views of the snow capped Continental Divide....
