A walk from Sizewell to Thorpeness and back.
This is a lovely walk especially on a crisp day.
This hike was to be to the Lac de Sant Grat but the weather forced our retreat before we got to the lake.
Free parking at the cable car and only 2 Euros for the return up to Chamois we hiked up to Lago Lud. After relaxing and reading by the lake got an hour or so we had lunch at the restaurant overlooking the lake. The trip records the gentle decent back to Chamois. If you are in the area and need a short walk and a peaceful time give it a try,
A fairly gentle round trip to see the falls. There is a lovely area around the top fall to sit and relax as well as a high meadow in which to lie and take in the views.
A visit to various WWI sites with Bill, Fay, and Ann.
A nice 5 mile walk from Hardelot along the beach, back through the Dunes and again along the beach.
A walk organised by Lorraine. We set out just around 11am and returned at 1.30pm. The weather was fine, humid, and mainly overcast. Quite a good walk but with a stretch along the A120 and two crossings of the A120 which is very busy.
