This is section 7 of our walk along the Saxon Shore Way. As work has got in the way I completed this section on my own ahead of schedule. Lunch was taken at The Coastguard in St Margarets Bay. It was too tempting not to have a cup of tea at The Bluebirds Tearooms as the view across the channel was unbelievably clear.

Our fifth section on the Saxon Shore Way starting at Sandling and ending tothe north of Folkstone with lunch at Etchinghill in The New Inn

This is the third section of The Saxon Shore Way starting at Appledore and finishing at Aldington, with lunch taken at The Woolpack Inn in Warehorne.

Section 1 from Hastings to Rye The East Surrey Ramblers are walking the Saxon Shore Way from Hastings to Gravesend. On this first section lunch was taken at The Smuggler on Pett Level road.

The walk in to Inverie at Knoydart from the Glenfinnan railway station. A three day walk via Glen Finnan through the Glendessary Forest then on to Sourlies Bothy at the head of Loch Nevis and by Carnoch and Mam Meadail and down into Inverie.

This is our last section of the South Downs Way following the inland bridleway route from Alfriston to Eastbourne. Beginning with morning coffee in Alfriston, with lunch at the Eight Bells in Jevington.Brown Ale !! GOODHam,Egg and Chips !! GOODNO Banoffi Pie !! BAD

This section takes us from Southease Railway Station to Exceat with a picnic lunch taken at Firle Beacon with an excellent afternoon tea taken at Badgers in Alfriston.

This section takes us from The Devils Dyke hotel reached by a trip in the open top bus. Lunch was at The Plough at Pyecombe and ending at Housedean Farm on the A27 (spot our deliberate mistake!)Tough going in a blustery wind and a bit more than 10 miles :-)
