Easy hike. Last 1mile or so might be a bit more challenging. Shoes with good grip help - rock covered with sand can be quite slippery.Side trip to Indian Rock is worth a .6mi detour.
This is one of my favorite hikes in Yosemite. This year wild flowers were just magnificent. The views are magnificent. Feet soaking in Tenaya Lake after the hike priceless. We were not acclimatized well to altitude and for some reason that bothered me more than on my previous CR hike. Taking it easy and drinking a lot of water helped.
A great hike with magnificent views of the valley and Yosemite Falls. Hint: do it in the morning before sun hits the trail. The trail is quite steep but not technical at all. One of Yosemite must do hikes.
