Hiking Trails and Trips
Trips
Hiked a little with my sister Mely and her husband Tom.Didn't realize we were going to go this far so I didn't start Everytrail until halfway out.
Had an nice hike with beautiful views.
Bill, my little lady and I hiked up to the top of Mt Pinos. It was windier than we expected and with a lot less snow but we still enjoyed it.
My Precious Little Princess was going up this like she was on flat ground but the last mile was really getting to me. I was breathing heavy, my heart was racing, could feel my heartbeat pounding on the back of my head/neck and my left knee started hurting. My wife wasn't helping any just making it worse.
Our usual hike at Griffith Park. Made my little lady very happy.
A nice hike from the Placerita Canyon Nature Center on the Hillside trail and up to Manzanita Mtn.
A nice hike from Vincent Gap on the Angeles Crest Hwy to the Big Horn Mine on the Mine Gulch Trail with my wife and my friend Bill. There are 4 rock slide areas where the path gets a bit hairy for the inexperienced but easily passable. The mine is sealed but the building is still mostly there unfortunately defaced by taggers. We didn't go to Vincent's Cabin, it is down a side...
It was an awesome challenge. Can't wait to come back with my Papi!!!!!
Had fun hiking Griffith Park with my little lady.
Started this log late but the total distance is incorrect, should be about 6 miles.
Just off of Sand Canyon Rd./Little Tujunga Canyon Rd we decided to take a break from driving and hike a little. The 'path' is really washed out with lots of loose rocks.
