Johnny's birthday adventure...we started with 16 riders and finished with 8...Not bad for a sunday adventure
This turkey day we split into 2 rides...started out with about 20 riders..Upper Snake to Dawa to Aerie and back again
Lots of people showed up for the NodFest Finale...many skill levels and I hung with Ole Doc Bill and Frankasaurus...we did a shortish ride, everyone had fun and noone got hurt...Another Successfull NodFest
This day I added enough sand and gravelly roads that I couldn't take a road bike on this route.Although...having a super lite road bike on the palani climb would have been fine!
This is a road bike ride...the upper road is simply a great road to ride a bike on...today it was filled with the smell of roasting coffee and ripening fruits...Cruzing through the artsy town of halualoa and the cool towns of kealakekua and captain cook...got back home just as the rain started.

This loop is turning into a Sedona Classic. We started at Recycling and could tha Ridge Trail to Lemonade to Sketch Overlook to Sketch to Upper Ramshead to Secret Slickrock across the creek at Red Rock Crossing then up Cathedral Rock to the Easy Breezy Sleasies to Highline the old Buddha nBeach trail back across red rock crossing and up Stutz...A great ride once again!!
