Over 40 miles of marked multiple-use trails allow visitors the opportunity to enjoy nature as they are horse riding, hiking, and biking. Birding, wildlife viewing, and geo-caching are also enjoyed by visitors here.

Charles H. Bronson State Forest is one of Florida's newest state forest. It was dedicated on October 20, 2010 to Charles H. Bronson, a fifth generation Floridian and long term veteran of public services including law enforcement, state senator and agricultural commissioner. On March 25, 2011, the forest was opened to the general public. Recreational activities include hiking, camping, bird watching, horseback riding and seasonal hunting.

Cypress Creek is a tributary of the Hillsborough River. Within the property, the creek threads its way through an expanse of cypress and hardwood forests. Slash pine, longleaf pine and palmetto grow on the higher “ridges,” which are collectively known as Florida flatwoods.
The Withlacoochee River Park offers visitors access to a wild and scenic portion of the river and a mosaic of habitat communities, from high sandhills to low riverine swamp.
This trail is near Lake Eaton in Ocala National Forest. It is called the Lake Eaton Sinkhole trails and they lead you to a big sinkhole.

Tishler Indian Mound (Ocala National Forest)

This trail leads to an ancient Indian mound in Ocala National Forest. It is dated back between 500BC - 800AD.
On this hike started near the trailhead at Reedy Creek. Down to Lake Arbuckle and over to the other part of the forest. There are many trails here with lots to see!
This is a trail that takes you near the St. John's River and is near the lower Wekiwa Preserve. A floodplain marsh, hydric hammock and cypress swamps are found within the wilderness area. White-tailed deer, swallow-tailed kite and Florida black bear can be found in this habitat. Great blue herons, river otters and American alligators can be seen along the trail.
