Nice hike with the family. Out and back hike with the first half uphill and downhill ont he way home. nice stop at the top with great views and a place to sit and have a snack.
Great hike in summer here in Vegas. Temps are 25 - 30 degrees cooler than in the city. The trail is located at the end of the Lee Canyon road, near the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort. Well marked trail with gentle climb and a nice vista of the ski area and mountain peeks. Aspens, Ponderosa Pines as well as the Bristlecone Pines are all there. You can begin the hike...
Nice hike, but did not make it to the top as rattlesnake blocked the path and could not convince wife to go farther.
