To move from Snake Canyon to the Plateau for the Jabal Shams trek we had to to drive along Wadi Bani Awf and cross the Hajar Mountains. This trip shows the scenic way it happened.
Road from Wadi as Sahtan to Yasib is as spectacular as can be. The ride was in places hair-raising with its hairpin turns over open precipice or along a narrow ledge with a few hundred meters of vertical wall on side. And sometimes it is REALLY steep . On the other side of the broad Wadi as Sahtan we drove a new graded road over Jabal Dhawi leading to 3 or four houses...
