Launched from Sassafras Landing, one of three launch areas in the Assawoman Bay State Wildlife Area in Delaware, USA.  Options for kayaking include:  Miller Creek, exploring many marsh areas,  Assawoman Canal and Little Assawoman Bay.Sunny, warm, nice breeze.  Waters calm in marshes and creek, but choppy on Bay.  Saw egrets, herons, gulls, four Osprey nests and too many other shore birds to mention.  Bonus was TWO Bald Eagles and seeing their HUGE nest.

Launched from the Ocean Pines Community Boat Ramp near White Horse Park and headed out a canal to the St. Martins River.  Went across the river towards Bishopville Prong then up a side gut to a little pond.  On our return . went across the River near Piney Island and paddled back to the ramp'Saw Great Blue Herons, Ergrets, Green Herons.  On the River: Power boats, jet skiers, water skiers, crabbers, etc.

West Ocean City Commerical Harbor to Assateagure Island via Sinepuxent Bay

Launched from the public boat ramps at the commercial fishing harbor in West Ocean City, MD and headed south on Sinepuxent Bay , then across to Assateague Island. Pulled into a cove on the north end of Assateague by the OC Inlet. Had lunch, flew some kites and paddled across the bay to the Harbor.
