Great national monument in a short hike. Too bad we can't see more of the cave where the spring is, but its a great park.
Great trail with very little traffic. Would be a good trail run.
Love this park! Great hiking without the heavy traffic. Lots to see including two waterfalls within a short hike.
Ha Ha Tonka State Park is a great park packed with things to see is a short time frame.
Part of the Ha Ha Tonka State Park.
Good trail run with some challenging inclines.
Great trail running route. Love that the trail developers kept the steep inclines when routing the paths.
Nice park for putting a boat in. The trail is stone so not great for running.
Fast and easy hike to Foster Falls. There is a trail to the bottom along with camping area.
Nice trails that lead to the beach/dunes area.
Great sightseeing hike around Old Mission Lighthouse. Water was really low which made it fun walking out on the rocks.
This area has all level of hiking trails. Nice views!
Great sightseeing trip up the Leelanau peninsula.
Leland is a darling town on the Leelanau peninsula. The salmon were trying to jump up the fish ladder.
Short hike to see the lower falls.
Nice short hike part of Sleeping Bear dunes.
Upper peninsula if Michigan is absolutely beautiful in September and October with the leaves changing. Tahquanamon Falls is one of the biggest sights! Check it out.
Federally operated Soo Locks is a great way to spend an hour or two learning about how the ships travel through the locks and their construction.
Longer hike than I expected. I thought the ranger said it was 8 miles. It's amazing how many people were hiking in flip flops with no water. Be prepared! This trail is definately better after a rain since the waterfalls weren't as spectacular as I remember from last time.
Nice trail run down Keyser Run road with two bear sightings and lots of butterflies. There is a reason they call the connector Little Devil Stairs so be prepared for some intense uphill. Pretty after a rain due to hiking along the stream. Several trail stream crossings so if water is high, you may need to get wet or turn around. You will burn calories no matter which way you go on...
