Trips
Boxing day 2012! Most of us(hardcore Geocachers) will go Geocaching! And we did just that! At short notice, 3 of us went to the route that our very first Facebook Geocaching did 5 years ago! Discovery Bay to Mui Wo! Covered 13 caches and over 12km! Took us almost 5 hours to complete as it was a very leisure walk with some interesting stops to see something nice and new to us!...
A short one but very fruitful! Since the world did not end, we decided to keep fit once more! Doing a ascending climb up to see 10000 buddhas and the up the hills to find more caches! Was good! Then we feast ! Was great!
7+1 folks on this Island again! Tough day! Found 8 caches on the island! Had loads of adventure and fun! Neat companions along makes life worthwhile!
Planned 18 geocaches on a cycling trip around Yuen Long... did 19 instead!
CITO (Cache In Trash Out) event on Fan Lau Beach at Lantau!
24 caches done on a long 18km hiking trip in Hong Kong Lantau island!Fabulous trip and a 100% score!
930am till 1030pm of geocaching! Can't get enough of it! A pity I forgot my Canon S100 and have to use my SGS2 as a camera for the day!Met up at 930am in Fan Ling MTR, took a cab to Lau Shui Heung reservoir and all actions began! Non stop actions from Geocaching, eating, sightseeing, photoshooting till 1030pm! Done like 17 over caches and I seriously lost count! Also met up with just landed Bangkok...
Made a trip to Monkey Land on Golden Hill!Indeed! Monkey infested!!! But we still had plenty to enjoy! Great hike, workout, friends, activities, monkeys and scenic!
4 Feb Geocaching at sesame Bay! A part of Lantau Area! Super 11 Geocaches and a good adventure indeed.... We have a new member from the village with us... Bobby!
Part group hike, part Geocaching!Had vegetarian food on the walk up to Lantau!
It was meant to be a picnic style outing where we bring some food and some stoves and utensils up to the highland along a river hike and have a good meal.It turned out rainy and cold as 4 degs. Detoured to a far area to do this cooking.. Frozen but yet, 6 geocaches were covered instead of the planned 4. Super!
It's one of those Geocaching style
event named CITO(Cache In, Trash out). This time we went to a restricted
region to do a quick cache and clean up the trash in that area. The
blowhole was fantastic! We spent some time appreciating this piece of
nature! There were 23 folks out there and plenty of trash bags and
gloves to do the dirty work. Pretty happy to have done this and thanks...
This happens on the coldest day of this
winter so far! It was 8 degs in the morning where we met up at Fan Leng
MTR station and took a taxi to Luk Keng to start the morning walk!
The sky was pretty up there, the air was pretty clear and the view were
pretty good across the waters into SZ! We were as pretty as can be in
our moods!...
Epic geocaching! Super weather and super history in the making! Did 9 caches up on the hill and 1 after a great hotpot dinner! A whopping 13 person set off and all came back of course!!! Fun day, super view as well as good company!
11 Geocaches to be covered with rented bikes! 8 Geocachers on wheels are simply un-stoppable!!!
THIS IS THE DAY WE WENT NORTH AND INVADED SHENZHEN.... in the name of Geocaching! Early departure and we were on our way to cover a 19 caches plan! Eventually we had attempted 17 cache with 1 DNF. Was so WARM in the NOON but we endured and made it all worthwhile!!! A bit of the adventure... we came to ShenZhen after meeting up at 830am. EVERYONE WAS ON TIME! Very impressed!
