It's overcrowded, slow, and has too many street crossings to really be enjoyable, but I do it a couple times a year anyway.   This time, I went out to check on a rental bike for a friend at the end of the trail.

A variation on the Horn Pond trip that is a little more direct this time.  Returning via S. Boundary Road to get some hill practice.  Cold and cloudy, but no rain.

I've been looking at this on the map for a couple years and finally decided to ride out to what turns out to be an unexpected gem.  There are a number of paved and dirt roads that are usable by bicycle.  The area is well maintained, with benches and access to the water around most of the pond.  The lagoon at the northern end is quieter than the main pond.  The causeway...

Plymouth to Harwich Saturday with a bit of rain.  Sunday with family including new grandson.  Monday  Harwich to Provincetown in great weather with a few diversions, some on puropse, some oherwise.  Headwinds all the way.
