These are some really nice cruising roads up in Orange County.
Just picked up my motorcycle from getting hundreds of dollars of tires and brakes, so you bet that i was taking the long way home.
You can really fly on 287...as long as you don't get pulled over. Top speed = 93mph!

Nice night for a ride! One of my favorite stretches of highway is Route 293 up near west point. Its surrounded by military property and I've never seen a cop. You can just open 'er up and fly. I took a ride up thru Sterling forest and stopped for a mini hike out on the Appalachian Trail to visit some really beatiful falls - Fitzgerald Falls. Trimmed the points a little at the start and end. Nice ride throughout Harriman. This is my preferred destination and its all a matter of how much time I have as to how much ground I cover.
