This hike ended up being a lot longer then it should have been as the hiking trail along the North Umpqua Trail is blocked by a creek that runs very high in the winter with no bridge to cross. I didn't want to ford it and there weren't any logs across it. Hikers should stay on the road until they get to the Hot Springs parking lot.Besides that it was a beautiful...
There really wasn't much to this hike, but the trees were nice as they changed color. Somewhere about a mile in when you hit the uphill portion there is supposedly a 10 ft waterfall but I didn't hear or see it, maybe it doesn't run in the fall.
