After trailering to Warren, Idaho, I unloaded and headed to the South Fork of the Salmon River. Arriving at the South Fork I searched for the South Fork Guard Station with negative results.I contacted a USFS employee and he informed me that the old Guard Station was removed several years ago. The only thing left at the site is the concrete root cellar which was constructed by the CCC in the 1930s....

Buzz and I departed camp and traveled on Clear Creek Road until entering the Boise National Forest where the East Fork of Clear Creek joins Clear Creek. We then returned to the Horsethief Road and to Horsethief Reservoir. After exploring, photographing, and videoing the Horsethief Reservoir area we backtracked and explored Corral Creek Reservoir and then returned to camp.
