A nice loop outing with my niece Laura and her dog Riley. The trails were in great shape with the exception of portions of the West Tiger Railroad Grade, which was a bit muddy through Many Creeks Valley.

Some friends and I made the decision to head up to Wedge Mountain today and it was great, despite
the clouds to the west that made for somewhat flat, gray views. The
scenery was still absolutely stunning, though. It's the kind that sticks
with you for a long time afterwards and that puts hikes on "favorites"
lists.To get to the trailhead, turn west off of Highway 97 onto Mountain
Home Road, approximately 4 miles south of Highway...
This is a hike I took with my sister, niece, and niece's boyfriend. The drive to the trailhead is relatively long given the length of the hike (even from our nearby cabin on Priest Lake), but I never grow tired of the views up here in the peaks of the Selkirk Crest. From this summit one can look north toward Lookout Mountain and the Lions Head, south toward Mount Roothaan and Chimney...
A group of friends and I got together for this hike today and it proved to be a great choice. We arrived at the Money Creek Trailhead at approximately 8:30 AM and most had returned to the trailhead by 4:00 PM.
