Mike and I hiked up to Turtlehead Peak after the 2009 WPMA show in Vegas.  We climbed the peak via the trail until mid way up the wash leading to the saddle just west of the peak.  At that point we traversed right into a prominent cut in the lower cliff band and scrambled to the ridgeline via the cut.  Once on top of the ridge, we post-holed through knee high snow...
