Time to venture out of the valley again as life gets back to some sort of normality in Loweswater.
It's a work day today and I drive to Keswick via Whinlatter.
All the local road flooding has gone and the journey to work takes just five minutes longer than normal.Full story at :http://www.loweswatercam.co.uk/091123_November_Gales_4.htm

and we would benefit from some extra milk in the fridge.Full story at : http://www.loweswatercam.co.uk/091121_November_Gales_3.htm
Day Two of the November floods and there's no access out of the valley to Keswick

Today was a working day . . .
The forecast was poor, in fact there was a weather warning of flooding and Radio Cumbria had reported that the high fells were not the place to be !
The storm started last night and weather men were anticipating 4-6 inches of rain and high winds of 60-70 mph to hit the area.Full report and pictures at http://www.loweswatercam.co.uk/091119_November_Gales.htm
