A trip up along the base of Mt Rainier from Sunrise, up First, Second, and Third Burroughs mountains to the lower right hand ridgeline of Steamboat Prow. Elevation about 7800'
A trek up to Camp Muir at 10,110' on the side of Mt Rainier on a day with 50 to 60 mph winds and about 34 degrees at Muir.
Hiked up Mt  Pilchuck today, a place I always love to go. This is a late year. Its July and much of the trail is still covered in snow. This track is not the whole trail, but from timberline only. A very windy frigid fog was blowing until we hit the top where it opened up and we could see the lava dome, Mt Hood, Mt Adams, and Mt. Rainier poking thier tops through the clouds.
