Trips
It seems I forgot to un-pause the Everytrail app.. for almost 4 miles! The app said 8 miles, the gps said 12, and I do remember forgetting to un-pause it when I paused for a geocache. This was a good little trip.. certainly didn't feel like 12 miles to me. It was a overcast day, so I didn't need sunscreen, but I used it anyway.
Took this jaunt today. I'd been wanting to get up that far for some time. There were some beautiful views of the Rio Grande and the Sandia Mountains.
I didn't get as many geocaches as I'd planned, but that happens. I got to the northernmost point of this track and realized the next geocache was 4.5 miles away, and I was running out of time.
Just took a run near the Rio Grande river. Had 25 caches on my list, got ONE of them, but it had turned really windy and surprisingly cold. I reasoned it would be better to take it it.
Rio Rancho Geocache Run

Easy ride from near my home to Rio Rancho, some of it along a back-way type route. I picked up a few geocaches along the way. Pleasant ride, only a couple odd spots were strenuous up hill but they were very short.
The remainder of the trip recorded on the second phone battery.. See Bike & Cache for details
moderate length bike ride, found a few geocaches along the way. This was about half the ride.. The end point of this is where I switched batteries because my phone was dying rapidly
