It's not bad, cheap entry fee of $3.This trail was a little weird. Great trip, though deceptively long. Watch for the random Otter in Bon Tempe and the aggressive crawdads snappin' at your heals!
Came down really just for lunch and a hike.
quick up and down trip
Was inpireed by the wonderful weather to get out and hit the trail!
Super-fun low stress trip. Great for 8 and up. We saw SO MANY MUSHROOMS! Didn't see anyone for 2 hours despite it being right off 101! We didn't make it to the top of Mount Burdell 'cuz it started getting really cold and with the fog rolling in visibility from the peak would've been about 15 feet.
A great little trip. Even though the upper and lower parking lots maybe full, once you get onto a hikers only trail it'll be a while before you see someone else.http://www.openspace.org/preserves/pr_purisima.aspTrip really only took about 2 hours and our average travel speed was about 3.5 mph.
