This trip starts at the Vincent Gap parking area on Hwy 2 in the Angeles National Forest. The elevation at the parking area is about 6600Ft. There is an elevation gain of 2800Ft over 4 miles. Its 9399FT at the summit of Baden Powell. Along the trail there are some amazing vistas and opportunites for Panoramic shots of the near by Mojave Desert and surrounding mountains.
