During our family trip to Mexico we visited the archeological Maya site of Kinich Kakmo in Izamal. The pyramid-shaped temple is 34 meters high, and quite steep to climb. Our 2 and 4-years old enjoyed climbing up, but I carried them one by one up the final steep part (you can see this in the GPS track). The top offers a nice 360 degrees view on the town of Izamal and surroundings....
A summer day in San Francisco. Not sure if I've been to this area before. But I will certainly be back!
Walk through the gardens of the Ginkaku-Ji temple in Kyoto. The gardens are probably the most impressive ones I have seen on our 1-week visit to Japan.
Following the Ginkaku-Ji we walked the Philosopher's walk.
Visit to one of Kyoto's tallest pagodas. Nice gardens and ponds with great views on the Toji Pagoda.
We visited the Tsukiji Fish Market early on a Saturday morning. Fantastic experience! A bit hectic for the kids, but more than worth the trouble.
One of the, if not THE, highlight of our visit to Tokyo.
View Point. Great views on Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay.
