[English below]朝５時に、早起きして裏磐梯へ出かけた。この日の日の出は6：48。5：00に外に出ると、あたりはまだ暗かった。途中、5：30に猪苗代を通過の際、GPSの電源を入れる。晴れて星が瞬いていたのが、パラパラと雪が振り出し、これから向かう裏磐梯はかなり雪深いと感じた。裏磐梯エリアに到着すると、まず向かったのが、曽原湖。ここは僕が数ある裏磐梯の湖の中でも一番好きな湖。小さな池ではあるが、人工で作った箱庭のように、美しいのが特徴。真中に島が点々とあり、その島には木が生えている。静寂に包まれた湖。途中いくつかの湖にも立ち寄りながら、裏磐梯最大の湖である桧原湖畔を車で走り、喜多方市に抜ける岐路につく。途中、分厚い雲から朝日が差し込んできた。真っ白いが暗い静寂の中、湖の真ん中に強い光が差し込む様子は、かなり幻想的でした。非日常の空間は、普段考えもしないことが頭に廻るもので、その幻想的な景色を眺めながら、UFOが襲来してくるのではと、少し本気で怖くなりました。[English]I got up early to go to Ura-Bandai.At 5:00 am, it was still dark, because 6:48 sunrise on this day. 裏磐梯が、紅葉シーズンを迎えましたので、見に行ってきました。会津若松を13：00に出発し、雄国山に車で登った後、裏磐梯に行き、15：00には猪苗代まで戻ってきました。2時間の駆け足コースです。裏磐梯への道は東京から来る方には一本しかないため、大変混雑します。特に、午前中の裏磐梯へ向かう方向、夕方の帰り道は混雑がひどいです。ですので、例えば、前日に会津若松に宿泊した方などは特に、喜多方経由で行くことをお勧めします。景色もいいですし。このコースは喜多方には立ち寄ってませんが、雄国山に立ち寄っているコースです。自然観光をする際に向いてますが、雄国山の道は大変細く、車のすれ違いは困難です。気をつけないと崖下にまっさかさまの危険な道です。今回は裏磐梯を駆け抜けてきてしまいましたが、裏磐梯は観光スポットがたくさんあります。一日中楽しめますので、遠くからわざわざお越しの方は、時間を十分取ることをお勧めます。
