Overview:
One of the main reasons anyone visits Yosemite is to see the famous waterfalls, and it is no wonder why. Yosemite Falls is the tallest waterfall in North America, 5th in the world, and the upper section along would rank in the top 20. The Mist Trail to see Vernal and Nevada falls is one of the most popular hikes in the Valley, and rightfully so. Bridalveil falls welcomes visitors to the Valley as one of the first waterfalls they see, and Chilnuala Falls, while lesser known, holds its ground in Wawona as the top Waterfal hike in that region.
