Overview: This oop is about 12.9 miles long and located near East Richmond Heights, California. The trail is great for hiking or horseback riding and normally takes a half to full day

Tips: No equestrian parking at Wildcat Creek Park yet... scheduled to be installed in Spring/Summer of 2012.  Have to park on street.  Trails are all fire roads and multiuse.  Dogs are allowed in park off leash as long as they are under control.   If encountering a dog, just stop and the owner will usually leash the dog.  Be sure to thank them!

Water trough and picnic table in the valley just before entering Tilden.  Also water trough, hitching rail, and restroom at Jewel Lake.   On the ridge, Nimitz is a paved trail/road for about 2 miles but has a dirt path next to the trail.  Very busy on weekends with bikes, hikers, strollers, dogs, etc.
