Overview:
The West Bluff Trail at Devils Lake is one of the more impressive in the park. From atop 100-200ft quartzite cliffs, you have a view east to the lake and beyond to the East Bluff. There are many picturesque rock outcrops along the way, and you can often see hawks and eagles soaring on the thermals generated by the cliffs.
The West Bluff Trail also offers access to the top of many climbing routes in the cliffs below. Check with the park office about climbing regulations before heading out.
Tips:
Link the West Bluff and the Tumbled Rocks or East Bluff trails for a loop back to the trailhead.
