Walnut Woods State Park trail

Overview: Walnut Woods State Park trail is about 2.9 miles long and located near West Des Moines, Iowa. The trail is great for hiking and normally takes 1-3 hours. This was a really nice trail with look out points along the river. Very pretty and peacefull.



Tips:
This easy dirt trail runs from the trail head near theplayground and spits you out near the East entrance. I took the road back to my car.
