Overview:
a great history hike with tons of ruins and artifacts!
this flat, easy trail goes along the banks of the Shenandoah river and a railway as you visit the water ductworks of a once active mill site. Interpretive signs show pictures of the day.
There are other loops to make this trail longer.
Civil war reenactments are often nearby in the park.
This hike is great for the end of the day, when there is no more light to do the more difficult hikes in the area.
