Sensory Garden

The sensory garden is a particular highlight on this walk. It has been developed for everyone to enjoy, with plant life and tactile sculptures providing colour, scent, texture, shape and sound.

The Green Man - representing the spirit of the trees, and a symbol of fertility recognised around the world - can be discovered in the centre of the garden. An arboretum in the park contains almost every species of native tree to be found in the county and they have been labelled to assist with identification.
