Overview:
This is a short half mile paved interpretive path to 4 different viewpoints along the Rogue River Gorge. You will see ancient lava tubes, waterfalls, and many other interesting features, all described to you by informative signs along the interepretive trail.
Tips:
The rogue River Gorge is located just south of the intersection of routes 62 and 230 just west of Crater Lake Oregon. There are no parking fees.
Park here in the large lot. There is no fee to park here. Enjoy the paved path which leaves the parking lot and heads directly into the narrow gorge. It is wheelchair accessible.
Along this paved path there are three different viewpoints into the Gorge. Take your time and take lots of photos before moving on to the last viewpoint north and above the gorge.
Here you are just above where the Upper Rogue River falls into the narrow Gorge. Check out the potholes and the waterfalls and again, take lots of photos.
