Overview: Rock to Polzeath is about 5.2 miles long and located near United Kingdom. The trail is great for walking, taking in cracking views, playing in sand dunes and just having a lovely stroll.

Tips:
To get to this carpark you have to drive all the way into Rock, the road ends at the car park.  Rock is a VERY busy place in summer and the road to the carpark can be hugely conjested. If the village looks busy save yourself any heartache and park in the carpark on the way into the village. After all you've come for a walk what does another bit matter.

St Enodoc Church

St. Enodoc stands, enigmatically, among the sand dunes above Daymer Bay. It is overshadowed by Brea Hill and is nowadays surrounded by the fairways of the St. Enodoc Golf Course. Why this charming chapel is here is a mystery. That it is an ancient place of worship is without doubt, some of the architecture can be traced back to the 12th century. Since its renovation in 1864 this chapel has found a particular place in the affections of countless people, both visitors and residents alike. Sir John Betjeman was particularly fond of it and is buried there.

Doom Bar

Depending on the state of the tide if you look out to sea you may see a ridge of sand or some waves in the middle of a flat stretch of water. This is the Doom Bar and is a treacherous sand bar that has caused many a shipwreck. At high tide you can't see it at all. Great place for wreck diving.

Watch the golf course

Whilst you can walk along side the golf course there is no need to, pick another path closer to the dunes. If you have a dog the tempation to chase the balls may be too much.

Polzeath Beach

Excellent for surfing.

Daymer Bay

If you thought the property prices across the water in Padstow were eye watering then this lot will make you faint. There probably isn't a house here for under a million. One recently went for £5.5m !
